The sitting room is spacious for just two people and has a lovely corner fireplace made of old oak timbers reclaimed from the original barn. The fire is a very effective ‘living-flame’ electric stove.

The furnishings and equipment are to the highest standard and spotlessly clean with careful attention to detail to make your stay memorable. Milkmaid’s Cottage has full central heating and double glazing, two bathrooms: one upstairs with a bath, basin and WC, and a downstairs shower room with basin and WC. With TV, CD, DVD in the cosy sitting room and oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer in the kitchen areas, everything is provided for you. There is also an adjacent laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer for your free use.
